Brain Ops
Optional ongoing care. Never a condition of keeping it.
Month-to-month. Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice.
Personal Brain clients who want the brain to stay current and grow with the work, without running the upkeep themselves.
You already own the brain. Brain Ops keeps it current, tuned, and migrated as models and tools change, never a requirement to keep what you bought.
Brain operations
The owned core stays tuned as the work changes.

Two tiers.
Light: $497/mo
The operational maintenance baseline, for a brain that does what you need on a workload that’s stable.
- Corpus updates & re-indexing as new work flows in
- Tuning of your existing skills and retrieval shapes
- Break/fix, next-business-day response
- Monitoring and uptime on the deployment
No new skill development. That’s Standard.
Standard: $997/mo
Everything in Light, plus proactive evolution, for a brain that’s part of how the work is changing.
- 2 new skills per quarter beyond the install’s set, scoped at review and built within the quarter
- 90-minute quarterly review: what’s working, where the gaps are, what to add next
- Proactive capacity: when Claude ships a feature, MCP gains a capability, or a new model launches, the brain migrates and the retrieval contract holds
- Same-day break/fix and a mid-quarter check-in to keep skills compounding
By year-end you’ve got 11–13 installed skills tuned to your work, a personal library compounded across months of use.
When each is right.
When the work is in motion, a new role, a new market, a workflow shift, Standard means you don’t re-engage per project every time you want the brain to grow. Downgrade to Light any month if the pace settles; upgrade to Standard pro-rated mid-month.

FAQs
Is the retainer required to keep the brain?
No. You own the source files, schema, deployment config, and subdomain outright. Brain Ops is ongoing tuning, not a leash. Most installs are stable enough not to need it.
Can my company pay for this?
Yes, if it serves the role. The Personal Brain stays yours regardless of who pays. That’s the design. Most employer-paid Standard retainers are part of an employee’s benefit package.
How is this different from the Coaching Retainer?
Brain Ops is operational maintenance plus capability development on a specific installed brain. The Coaching Retainer is 1-on-1 coaching on your work and role, independent of any install. They’re complementary.
