What we collect and how we use it.

When you contact us, we use your name, email, company if supplied, and message to respond to your inquiry. Please leave out passwords, payment-card details and sensitive information about customers or employees.

When you request a guide or template, we use the details you provide to give you access and send any requested download link. Guide requests ask for your name and email; company and role are optional. Blank-template requests ask for your email. Download links may expire before the related request record is deleted.

Booking forms ask for your name, email, selected appointment and time zone, along with any company, role, phone number or other details you choose to provide about the work. We use these details to arrange and deliver the service. Stripe processes paid bookings; these forms do not give us your full card number.

If campaign details come with a request, such as the source of a link, we may keep them with that request to understand how people find br8n.

Requesting a download, making an inquiry or booking a conversation does not subscribe you to Field Notes. Webinar updates and Field Notes are separate choices.

The no-account AI Rescue worksheet and Workflow Test Card keep your answers in the open page. They do not submit those answers to br8n. Download or print your record before leaving if you want to keep it. The page still uses the hosting and font services described below.

Some reading pages offer links to ChatGPT or Claude. Opening a link sends the suggested question and public article reference to the service you choose. We do not add your worksheet answers or form details to these links. Any information you enter in that service is handled under its own terms and privacy practices. Keep confidential information out of a chat unless you have permission and suitable arrangements to use it there.

We use essential services and storage to protect forms, remember your cookie choices and provide requested downloads. Download access may use a short-lived cookie that website scripts cannot read. Cookie settings are separate from your email choices.

Your browser stores your cookie choice. A preference cookie named bmc_analytics_consent also tells the website whether optional analytics is allowed. It contains an allowed or denied choice, rather than a visitor identifier, and lasts for up to one year. Browser storage may remain until you clear it or change your choice.

Google Analytics and advertising tags are not loaded on these pages. We honor Global Privacy Control by blocking optional website measurement and keeping advertising signals off. You can revisit your choices in Cookie settings. Clearing download cookies may mean you need a new access link.

We can record your cookie choice, the notice version and a broad region category without adding your name or email to that choice record. The hosting and security services receiving a request still receive technical details such as an IP address and browser information.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Its Turnstile service checks whether form requests come from people rather than bots, using technical signals such as IP address and browser information. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Cloudflare’s D1 database stores website records used for inquiries, downloads, subscriptions and bookings.

Resend handles email delivery and related records, including delivery status, unsubscribe requests, bounces and spam complaints. Google Workspace supports email correspondence and booking calendar events. Stripe processes payments and related payment records.

Sentry helps us find and fix website errors. Error reports can include technical error details, page addresses and browser or device information. We configure filtering to limit sensitive information in these reports, including submitted request bodies and access links.

We load some fonts from Adobe. Your browser connects to Adobe to request them, which gives Adobe your IP address and the website’s hostname. Adobe says its webfont service does not use cookies to deliver fonts and does not store the IP address it receives for delivery. See Adobe Fonts privacy information.

These services receive information needed for the functions described here. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Their own privacy notices explain their handling where they act on their own behalf. Client engagements have their own agreed data boundaries and processing terms.

Field Notes is optional. If you ask to subscribe, follow the separate email confirmation to complete your signup. Choosing webinar updates asks us to send information about that series; it does not subscribe you to Field Notes.

Use the unsubscribe link in marketing email to stop that mailing. If an email includes a preferences link, you can use it to review and stop the topics it covers. Simply opening a confirmation or preferences page does not change your subscription.

Opting out of marketing does not cancel messages needed for a booking, purchase or download you requested. A hard bounce or spam complaint may prevent further delivery. We keep enough suppression information to avoid accidentally restarting messages you stopped.

We keep information for the purposes described above, including responding to requests, delivering services, reconciling purchases, keeping required business records and protecting the site. The appropriate period depends on the record and any legal or contractual requirements. Consent and suppression records help us respect your choices. An expired access or confirmation link does not automatically delete the related record.

To ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email michael@br8n.io. We may need enough information to verify your request and will respond as required by applicable law. Please do not send identity documents or sensitive records in your first message.

We will update the date on this notice when it changes. Information provided during client work is also subject to the terms and data boundaries agreed for that engagement.
