AI spend is rising. What work has improved?
See what one AI workflow changes from request to accepted result. Follow the work people still do, count what you can support, and leave with a next test.
The interactive worksheet is not available yet.
About 10–15 minutes if you have the work in mind. No account or email is required. You may leave a number as Unknown. Your answers stay in the open worksheet page; save your record before leaving. Use non-sensitive examples in the worksheet; do not enter customer records or credentials.
Hosted AI Rescue
Find where one AI workflow needs attention.
Bring one workflow and leave with supported findings, unknowns and a practical next test.
What to bring
- One permitted ordinary case and one difficult case
- The intended result and the work people still check or correct
- Handling time and costs, where known; unknown is fine
For example
A quote draft arrives quickly, but someone still checks the source, corrects the price and verifies the handoff. Look at the whole job before deciding what to change.
See the completed quote example →The check does not operate your workflow or promise savings.
Hosted checks and the standalone worksheet are not available yet. You can read the guide and worked example.
The reading links below open an ordinary chat with a suggested question. They do not start a hosted check.

About the planned account
The planned account version would save your work email, industry and results. Designated BR8N and 8GNC staff would be able to review them for support and to identify where our services might help. Before accounts open, we’ll explain the actual storage, access, retention and privacy choices. Field Notes will remain a separate, optional signup.
Privacy →A faster AI draft can still leave someone with more checking, correction or handoff work. Choose one repeated task that matters to a customer or your team. The question is whether the whole job reaches an accepted result more reliably or with less work—not whether the tool produced an answer.
Follow the work through acceptance
- Request
- AI attempt
- Human review
- Accepted result
A prompt, draft or “done” message is not the finish line. Name what another person or system actually accepts, then follow the work across each handoff. If the AI says it changed a record or completed an action, check the system where that result should appear.
Bring two cases, then count the whole job
Use one ordinary case and one difficult case. Ask the person doing the work to show what the AI produced, what they checked or corrected, and how the final result was verified. Include attempts that were rejected, abandoned or redone. These two cases can locate a break; they cannot prove typical savings or a revenue gain.
If you have a comparable before-AI task, note its total handling time. For the AI-assisted task, count drafting or execution, review, correction, handoff and routine upkeep through acceptance. Keep attributable software spending and any observed customer result in separate lines. If a number or outcome has not been measured, Unknown is more useful than an invented estimate.
What the free record gives you
The worksheet assembles your work definition, two cases, full-work time, attributable spending, unknowns and a provisional next move. You can choose to repair the process, reconfigure an existing tool, explore whether an installation is worth scoping, stop this AI use, or hold expansion while you gather evidence. Add an owner, review date and threshold for the next test. The complete record is available to save or print without giving BR8N an email address.
The record is based on what you enter. It does not verify your sources, permissions, handoffs, costs or results, and it is not an audit, ROI calculation or promised saving. A time difference is not automatically payroll savings; more output is not automatically more sales.
A faster draft. A slower finished quote.
Fictional quote workflow. These numbers show how to use the check; they are not a BR8N client result.
A customer requests a quote. The accepted result is an accurate quote sent to the customer and a matching CRM record. In an ordinary case, an employee checks the AI draft and finishes the CRM entry. In a difficult case, the AI uses an old price sheet and “quote complete” does not mean the CRM changed. The employee catches and corrects both problems.
Before AI, one accepted quote took 45 minutes. With AI, drafting takes 12, source checking 18, corrections and exceptions 8, and CRM handoff 12: 50 minutes total. This illustration allocates no upkeep time; include measured upkeep in your own comparison. That is 5 minutes added per accepted quote, or 200 extra minutes across 40 accepted quotes in this illustrative month. Attributable software spending is $300, or $7.50 per accepted quote before staff time. Revenue contribution is unproven.
For the proposed investigation, ask the employee to walk through both cases. A workflow-capture tool such as Scribe could document the software steps. Then ask how they recognize current prices, resolve exceptions and confirm the handoff. Review what happened with the process owner before deciding what the procedure should be.
The first proposed repair is to give the current price sheet an owner, retire the stale version and define completion as customer delivery plus a matching CRM record. Check whether the existing tools can carry the agreed information between them. Workflow improvement and team readiness come first here; AI may help prepare the draft. Automation or a system replacement requires a separate reason.
Give the employee time to rehearse an ordinary request and one with missing or conflicting prices. Practice checking the source, asking the responsible person and confirming the receiving record. A missing price or an unconfirmed update must remain unresolved rather than being reported as complete.
Then compare the whole job through acceptance, including review, correction, handoff and upkeep. Check whether the employee can handle the exception independently and agree who maintains the sources and connections. This repair and rehearsal have not been run: time after the change is Unknown, and improved customer service or revenue is unproven.

After your free record, if you want help
The free record gives you a first test to discuss with your team. If you need help investigating the work, we can agree a paid Working Intelligence Audit. We study the sources, decisions, handoffs, access and risks with your people, then recommend a repair, configuration change, installation scope or no installation. An Audit can help when the scope is unclear; it is not required when a Company Install can already be scoped.
